Hi, im Lucie
Her Wave: Inspired by the Ocean, Crafted by Passion
For as long as I can remember, the beach has always been my first love. From the warmth of the sand and collecting seashells to the endless rhythm of the ocean. There’s something magical about waiting for a wave, catching it, and riding it that defies time and logic - a moment of true presence. The feeling of being in flow and in sync with the ocean is the most special feeling there is. It is where I feel the most alive, humbled, and beautiful. Born and raised in New York City and on the beaches of Long Island, I’ve always been a mix of city and sea. My love for surfing began at age 10 in Montauk. As I grew older, the self-consciousness of being one of the few women in the water coupled with aggressive and condescending male behavior in the line up took its toll. I stepped away from surfing for nearly a decade, focusing on New York’s fashion scene where I began my career working with luxury and contemporary brands in Creative and Marketing. When I moved to LA, I knew I wanted to make surfing a core part of my life. Though it was intimidating at first - Southern California having some of the best surfers in the world - surfing with friends, especially other women, empowered me to reclaim my space in the lineup. I am not professional or advanced surfer, but I can hold my own in the line ups at County Line to San O. There is nothing that makes me happier than surfing with friends - especially my female friends who inspired me to create Her Wave. Over the years, I’ve collected shells and objects that felt special to me, and I started creating jewelry that reflected my personal style. Her Wave is more than just jewelry; it’s an extension of myself — a brand that embodies effortless, chic style with a touch of coastal flair. Every piece reflects my passion for the ocean, my love for unique finds, and my belief that style should be effortless yet meaningful.
